One-to-One Staff Development

Many companies realise the importance of continuous training and development for their staff, but sadly many are unhappy with the results from their annual investment in training. This is often because the training course or programme is too “off the shelf” and not tailored enough for their employees. Also, too much training takes place outside of the work environment and is therefore not sufficiently couched in the practicalities of running a business.

Because of this BSM offer staff training and development with a difference! We work with employees on a one to one to assess current capabilities and strengths and weaknesses. We then help the employee perform to their optimum through the careful selection and design of training and/or coaching interventions.

In One to One Staff Development projects BSM will:

  • Shadow the individual to help him/her gain an understanding of their key strengths and areas for development.
  • Introduce the individual to world class practices relevant to their role.
  • Coach the individual on their people management and communication skills.
  • Coach the individual on identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Assist the individual in managing his/her team/department towards the achievement of specific metrics (sales, profitability, yield, on time delivery, productivity).
  • Assist with the facilitation of team/departmental meetings.
  • Design and introduce performance managements reports.
